A 140 odd mile round trip to get a set of unions for £40, 3 tyres in good condition with plenty of tread and one had very uneven wear on one edge down to the wire.

And now I have just fitted Cruise Control... in hindsight I did this all in the wrong order and could've tested the cruise on the M1.

Fitted the cruise control ECU, the switches to the steering wheel, and the button to the centre console (after making a hole for the switch)........... and that's how it's going to stay for a while.

The lack of a wiring loom means the C/C can now sit on the back burner, I only fitted the bits in order to save them from being lost or broken.

Spent this evening sorting out the wiring for auto dimming rear view mirror and rain sensor. Not plugged in fully yet, just a bunch of loose wires running from the A pillar.

Makes me realise how lucky I was to find all the plugs and harness for the cruise control already there. Plugged all the bits in and it burst into life.

Just need a T4 session now to get full functionality
