Thanks to Peter H (op48)
A thanks to our Peter for today.
Came over to Northants following a major problem my end. I now have sight problems in my working eye that has rendered me unable to drive and work as MOT Tester. My Tool chest needed collecting from work, and a few other bits to deal with. As a reward we took a trip to a yard that housed a 75 tourer in colour JFM. Peter was looking for a rear bumper in good condition, this we found to our surprise ! Not exactly easy to remove this bumper with an LGV parked right up the backside, but managed it in the end. Returned to mine with ideas on fitting the item, which mostly went well. All done and dusted and looking good after a polish up ! This yard is a superb place and not greedy, rear bumper with parking assist and only minor scratches for ............... £10 ! Know the right folks, and get the right deals ! Peter, your a fine chap who has really helped me out today, and nothing was too much effort to be so helpful. A BIG thank you for what you have done as well as the good laughs we shared. Cheers RogH57 |

I'll add my thanks to Peter here too.
Peter picked up some wheels for me recently that I couldn't get to, and held on to them until I could get to him. And he organises the breakfast meets, and all the odd jobs he does for folks at the meets. Good man Peter! Thanks again John
