Default well, she's a fireman now

We went to my daughters fireman's passing out parade a couple of weeks ago.
The new recruits then have 2 weeks imposed holiday, I guess that is what the training time gives them pro rata.

She had her first shift Friday night and had 2 very minor call outs.

I was very worried about her first shift, worrying she would remember everything and not make a mistake which would upset her, I think that during the day she may have been a bit stressed. She said she enjoyed her fist shift and said the rest of the crew seemed nice.

1 shift, now 4 days off and then into 4 on 4 off rota for proper.

New job, "new" house, a new adventure in her life.

It's her first wedding anniversary today.

Congratulations to your daughter I’m sure she’ll do well.
I served my time building fire engines so she’ll be in safe hands many of the nations brigades appliances are still built there.
