The ridiculous speed they read the small print out to you at the end of certain radio ads, for example:

Atparticipatingdealersonly.zeropercentfinanceavail abeonselectedmodels.termsandconditionsapply.seewww .(insert website here).co.ukfordetails.

I mean come on - would it kill them to speak just a little bit slower so that we can hear what they're trying to say?!?

I agree.

I wonder if whoever gave the OK knows anyone with a hearing impairment and considered how they might cope?

But, of course, IMHO, the real reason is that these are the bits that don't "sell" the product and are only there because they have to be. Advertising time is expensive so the less time spent on them the better - i.e. less costly.

What really annoys me are the payday loans preying on the vulnerable with their 1400+% APR! How do they get way with this? This is nothing more than the “respectable” face of loan-sharking. ☹️

Advertising is paid for by time so of course they are going to spend longer talking about their "product" and cram the legal bit in at the end
