Default Liquid shoe polish to revive plastic sounds unlikely but....

It seems to work miracles, a friend of mine suggested KIWI black liquid shoe polish, I tried it, it was £2.60 for a tube with a foam applicator and to my amazement it works miracles!!!!, I have put the car through the car wash and it hasn't faded one little bit, I reckon its the same stuff as the plastic revivers that you buy from the likes of Halfords and in any case, its so cheap that if it does fade, just put some more on, but it seems pretty durable to me

Used it for years, originally on plastic parts on motorbikes when plastics discoloured after a year in our UK weather

Hi

Are we talking for instance the plastic trim under the windscreen and the window trims currently have been using groundnut oil but it does fade after a while.

Wow like it. I have used peanut oil as this restored the colour and lasted a while but will try this next time. Thank you

Cool

Used the shoe polish on the canvas roof of my old FIAT.

Used it on the black plastic and metal parts on Banana from time to time.
