Default Video

At a bit of a loose end the other day, so I thought I'd have a play around with a video camera for a change .

The camera work need practice as it's far too shaky for my liking, and I should have put the show plates and chrome grill on (they were in the boot ). Oh, and some shots are overly long as I had to match the length to the audio track .

On the plus side, the video is showing my car as a vibrant green colour (to my eyes at least) which, being colour blind, I don't usually see . I'd be interested to know if it looks the right colour in the video to other folk (it's "Lagoon").

Cliff

Yes Cliff, the colour in the video is bang on Lagoon in shade

Your car doesn’t look like it’s ever been on the open road, I’m very jealous as it makes mine look like it’s been to the moon and back by comparison

Excellent work there

Thanks Paul .

It's very odd that I can see the colour in the video, but not in "real life" . On my drive it's mainly grey, in photos it tends to be blue/grey, but in the video a vibrant green. On balance, I like it best in the video .

Brilliant Cliff, really shows the colour as I see it.

Saw the original version, made a comment, wondered why you'd re-uploaded as I didn't see any difference - then again my memory isn't what it was......

Thanks Jim. It seems I can see Lagoon only on film .

Nothing wrong with your memory by the way. The original upload was quite a large file and I subsequently noticed that Premier Elements has a specific "upload to Youtube" facility which produces a much smaller file, so I deleted the original to give it a try .

Hello Cliff

I like the video you put together. How does one make a video of a stationary car interesting? It is not an easy task and you have managed to hold the interest from the beginning to the end. Congratulations I wouldn’t worry too much about camera shake as it adds authenticity. Some film makers use a shake technique to add a feeling of reality. If it does bother you, there are image stability apps available. Whilst they can stabilise a video, sometimes there is some frame loss within the image when applying the effect.

A beautiful car Cliff. I am in admiration.
