Stainless exhaust
My exhaust line being pretty rusty, what would you think about this one as a full remplacement?
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Direct-Fi...oAAOxyW7tRh7kD Any better option for my to-do list? I'm not that interested in loud noise, but I would like a rather lasting stuff (my fuels-up are done with ethanol) and a less restrictive back box (I've already got a K&N panel filter, but I don't want to invest in an induction kit). Thanks.

One thing, after your previous surprise and displeasure, I would confirm postage up front, as they will not post for the stated amount to my address, and I am in the UK, for the time being at least Sent from my SM-A310F using Tapatalk

Thank you both.
But I think I may turn my question otherwise : In case you haven't an OEM Rover exhaust, what kind of enhanced one did you put on your car ? Except tailored ones : I don't think I could find anything of the kind here but hugely expensive. Thanks a lot.

It’s an option I will add to the list. As I’m keeping the 2 litre V6, fitting a stainless system makes sense. As mentioned, the sound is a consideration as I have a nice quiet car and don’t want to add a loud box at the back. I’ll assess my current system and see if it’s looking crusty and then obviously get in touch with them. The price does not seem excessive.

Mine is rather rusty and I think I've better to do the right move before it bursts in pieces.
I don't know when it was fitted. As I can see the backbox was replaced so the main line is much older. The one I've pointed on is given as a direct fitting so it should be plain sailing I hope. The price looks rather correct. I've just to know what could be the shipping expense. I fear it may not be cheap.

One recurring comment about SS exhaust systems is they are somewhat noisier (sportier?) than the OEM one. I've no doubt it's possible to construct a 'silent' SS system (Rolls Royce do it all the time) but the cost for most of us might be a problem.

It ticks all the (back)boxes but that one! BTW the link I've given doesn't look to work any more so here is the right one: https://www.ebay.fr/itm/Direct-Fit-R...19.m1438.l2649
