I always thought the Radio in the 75 did not have a code as mine was disconnected several times and did not require a code when refitted. Hope you sort it soon

Harmony was always factory coded, Symphony was dealer coded upon request by original owner, as most were not asked, they remained uncoded ..... that is of course for UK sales, export may well be different, a dealer should have shown code in OEM owners manual.

If you haven't reconnected may be worth a single try, if it works you are OK, if not switch off and let us know, there are people who will supply against VIN for a price.

As always: you do so at your own risk.

Hello Stu,

I have kindly received the information below from andre372 to see if you would help me with my problem?

"Any Xpart dealer in the land will for a fee look up your lost original factory fit radio security code, providing you supply the car's VIN number or head unit serial number.

Well forum member Xpart02 (Stu) has kindly offered to supply this info for free to subscribed members, as an additional perk for helping support the clubs continued existence.

If you are a red member and need to know what your radio code is, just send a PM to
Xpart02. Our thanks go to Xpart for this generous offer"

Sent this a little while back fingers crossed

I have posted in technical help that I'm here in OZ and had mistakenly disconnected my battery on my very much loved 2001 Rover 75 Connoisseur.
So I guess this has been asked many times but how do I retrieve the code for my Alpine Symphony as there is no code and try as I might here in OZ no one can help me.

The VIN is SARRJZLLM1D213058

Any chance you would be able to find the code please?

Looking forward to your soonest reply,
Cheers

Terry, you need to send the above as a PM (Private Message) to Xpart02, or he may not see it

Also, as you are not a subscribed member, he may not be able to assist. Should you wish to hit the blue subscribe button at the top of the screen however, the £10 GBP you give to the club will solve that one

Best of luck getting it sorted. BTW, once you do have the code, there is a simple way of de-activating it yourself for the future so it won't need re-entry each time.
