Default 190 Front Brake Pads

I don't know whether anyone can help me?

I know the front discs are bigger on a 190, but are the pads different as well?

The discs on a 190 are very different, therefore, so are the pads. The fronts on a 190 are the same as the 260 but the rears are unique to the 190.

Rear discs are smaller than fronts. The fronts are

Diameter 325mm
New thickness 25mm
minumum thickness 23mm

The rears are also vented. You can get solid vented or drilled and grooved vented.

Diameter is 276mm
New thickness is 19mm
Minimum thickness is 17mm

Front pads are different to the rest of the range. I'm using Black Diamond Predator "Fast Road" pads from Motobuild and they seem ok.

Well thanks for the replies guys!

I went on Mintex's own website and whilst it lists the correct discs for a 190, it lists the front pads as being all the same!

Back to the drawing board then, as I'd found some cheap one's on the bay!

Good job I didn't buy them!

The good old bay of thieves

I have EBC red stuff on mine, also the X-Trail & C8. Not had a problem with any of them. Cost a little more but great performance (well, the ZT-T did suffer brake fade on a track day so use Yellow Stuff just for that.

Also, almost nobrake dust so wheels stay nice and clean :-)

Just whilst we're talking brake pads, are the rear pads the same on the 190?
