I had an enforced change of diet and since my admission into hospital early February, I have lost 30kg / 4.72 stone. Incidentally all of recent blood tests are back to normal and I can afford to have a treat of “Jeff food” aka Mr Toby now and again. If your worried about anything drop me a pm....

So this morning I had a no 3 haircut at the local Indian barber which included an Indian Head Massage - several slaps and smacks to the head. Quite an experience. This afternoon, I had acupuncture for the shingles head pain. 9 needles went in. One to each eye, one to each side of the jaw, one in the stomach and 2 in each leg below the knee. I am trying alternatives to being on opiates
I have taken it as a wake up call Phil, for years I have been a terror for biscuits ,cakes and chocolate. I started cutting down on chocolate about 3 months ago, after I noticed I was getting a pot belly, but will be cutting out all sweet stuff until the level is back to a normal reading. Then I can have the odd treat, but will be very careful how much I consume in future, starting to eat healthier too.

Cool

Morning all.

A bit overcast here at the moment. Supposed to brighten up later.

Took Redfive up to Torquay yesterday to Matt’s. Then out last night with two other forum members, and wives, for a nice meal. Finally left the pub at 22.30 and home by 23.15.

Good midday all (it's neither morning nor afternoon as I type!)
A lot more cloud today, with only short sightings of the sun.
A quiet Bank Holiday for us I reckon - son, daughter-in-law and grand kids are en route to Guildford to meet up with friends, so we won't be seeing them until Wednesday; daughter and son-in-law are off this afternoon for 4 nights - it's their first wedding anniversary yikes - where has the last 12 months gone?

Afternoon all.

Sun is shining here

Just finished the first coat of paint on the lounge walls. Now it's off to kitty cat rescue for the afternoon.
Will catch the Monaco Grand Prix qualifying when back home

Evening all, has anyone had acupuncture? I am just about to get tanked up on the opiates for the night, as yesterday’s acupuncture session has not yet kicked in. I am booked again next Tuesday. The most painful needles going in, were the ones going into each eye socket and into the jaw. Apparently “no pain, no gain”. I wonder if that is true.

Have a peaceful night
