Will my airbag really go off??
Going to take my steeering wheel off later but reluctant to discionnect the battery as i dont know the radio code. Will the airbag go off in reality if i disconnect with battery still connected?? or is it just better practice to do this? cheers

best not to gamble with it mate, so if you need to keep the battery on, then take out the fuse in the cabin 'box.

I've never had one go off yet without disconnecting the battery & that's removing steering wheels, seats etc on several different makes/models including many R75's & ZT's.
Just make sure the ignition is off before disconnecting & re-connecting. This is at your own risk of course. |
