Date of manufacture
Hi Guys, read elsewhere, date of manufacture may be available from posting VIN. My '75' is a (May) 2003 1.8T on '03' plate yet does not have PRT, actual year made could well assist when ordering parts in future.
Last 7 characters of VIN are: D 274725 Thanks in advance for this information. Chips |

My car is May 2003 registered, build dates and component fitting seem to be dated around the March/April period.
Regarding the PRT it seems in previous discussions on the subject it was fitted around March of this year. |

Your best bet is to use the IPK diagnostics mode, it'll take you a minute or two.
You want value 1.4, this will tell you the week and year of manufacture (e.g. mine is 2003 = week 20, 2003). If you have not used it before, read about it here: http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ad.php?t=55585 |

Many thanks to all, 'Kully good idea, but rather not in this cold weather' X-Part02, many thanks and noted, no doubt will save time or errors when parts needed in future,
but with a build date like that, am surprised it does not have PRT. Chips |
