Uhh ohhhh.... :(
Pulled alongside a nice Mk1 75 at some lights.... And the lady driver was watching the dash TV !!!!!!!!
I must admit i have always thought that having a TV in the front of a car was madness..... Question is, how long before someone causes a crash and they get banned?? ... Last edited by James.uk; 9th February 2012 at 14:31.. |

Not engine start but once movement was detected IIRC but on the very early models there was a work around that required no extra leads

If it was a DD the TV will still work on the move.

The TV in mine works all the time moving or not, BUT the picture disappears when the handbrake is released, hence at the lights with the handbrake on the TV screen and sound is on, when I move off the screen turns off but the sound continues. As far as I know this is the standard operation of the unit and it hasnt been modified.
I believe you can get around it to get the screen working at all times, but guess this is illegal? I wont comment on the fact that the handbrake does nothing except for turn the screen off |
