My 2.5 V6 Connoisseur SE comes up as not having to pay for ULEZ in London.
Worth checking yours.

I would have to pay for my Rover 75 diesel.

The whole thing is barking

If it's genuinely about emissions and air quality and not simply a way of grabbing money then surely if a vehicle is too "dirty" then it shouldn't be allowed into the zone. End of.

Maybe they should factor in the environmental impact of the mineral & oil extraction/refining/building/painting etc.etc. of new vehicles.........

Andy.

PS Has anyone charged Trump's entourage and helicopters? Just seen a great plume of stuff coming out of the aerial support......

Blimey! expanding the ULEZ in London saw TFL coining it in to the tune of over £90million

That enormous figure from non compliant vehicles was for just an eight month period from November 2021-June2022

The depletion of passengers on London's public transport network caused by Covid & working from home has to be paid for somehow, so it's a handy cash-cow for the Government.

Fortunately my 75 is still exempt but when they inevitably tighten the restrictions it will definitely shovel her up into the net & I'll almost certainly sell her.

Cash cow for the Greater London Authority not HM Government!

Alternative change the service levels to match the passenger profile = dont run empty or near empty buses etc.

Well TFL would like the Government to bail them out so in that regard a saving to them too.
Regardless of semantics it's all taxpayers money anyway.

That sounds like it's similar to the Bradford one then.

The Bradford one is up and running now, at least it doesn't affect private cars (for the moment)

We used to visit 'town' regularly to scour various antique auctions for stock.

My 2002 2.5 then will be exempt for the new larceny extension. Even so, it will be a cold day in hell before we go again with that impostor in office.
On the other hand, DVLA are still conspicuous by their apparent inability to renew my licence.

OMG, you can't expect the renewal of your licence to obstruct DVLA staff from taking the dog for a walk, taking the kids to school and other much more important tasks. Get real!
