Nah, if you are going to waft about in a soft top Merc, at least have something the dog will be happy running around in

Mind you I took my sister to visit her friend that day, then came back and replaced the cambelt on her Mk3 Cavalier

The Mrs currently drives a Vauxhall Twintop as her summer toy and our plan is that when the current collection of cars are due renewal, she will have an SLK/SLC and I a larger Merc which will have to be a CLS or an E-Class. Plus a smaller EV or petrol car as a local run-around for shopping etc.

I must be honest, the MG and the Jaguar are fine looking cars.

The problem I have is that you could swap the badges over on each of the cars and most people would be none the wiser.
This is pretty much true of many other manufacturers too.
They are all starting to look the same.

The Jaguar is hardly a styling icon like the E Type.

Well that's a bit of a bummer - the swear filter has got in the way of letting me know what I'm suffering from.

As for the premium bumper, I wouldn't fit one of those if they were giving them away.

Would sir prefer a Hillman Imp?

There are some beautiful cars around that cost less than £10k S/H - also some costing less than £100k new - if only my number would come up in the EuroMillions.
