Good blast from the past there Trikey!!

One of my favourites is Blockheads - by Ian Dury and the Blockheads.

“(Blockheads) ....drive black and orange cars,
Premature ejaculation drivers,
They’ve sometimes got roll bars....”

Great song - his lyrics were always excellent.

Wink

I noticed on a Golf R I was driving behind looked particularly ridiculous with its four pipes. I don't care how quick it is it just looks wrong, even if it is a hot hatchback. Especially as only two were used and dirty and the other two were clean and shiny.

FAKERY!!!

Is it really any worse than fake wood on a dash?

Or indeed a diesel that takes over 11 seconds to get to 60 dressed in a MG suit and given the name ZT-T+?

IMO there is absolutely nothing right or appealing about an anemic diesel MG ZT, but I am usually too polite to let the world know my opinion.

Live and let live.

Cant understand a manufacturer putting all that on their products, very naff and Teutonic. I think there is nothing quite so tasteful as that nice "go faster" chequered plastic tape on the side of my cars., Oh and a white roundel on the door with a black digit thereon and black electrical tape on the headlights. If I ever buy a large electric car, it will have these fake items fitted as a minimum.

1. Eight exhaust pipes so it is recognised as undoubtedly a V8.

2. Supercharger inlets on the bonnet.

4. Real wood dash so people believe it is fake.

5. External sound system to emulate the sound of a V8 as well as Supercharger whine.

6. In the driver's seat, Angelina Jolie.

So I attached a flexy pipe to the breather, strung it under the car, to exit out the rear through a short length of exhaust,to match the existing tailpipe.

Twin exhausts, both belching out pretty blue pollution.......
