Morning, been busy on the phone this morning. Last few weeks I have noticed an occasional squeaking noise.coming from the car wheel, got worse yesterday so took wheel of and inspected, nearside front pads down to about 1mm of friction material. The Insignia has no pad wear indicator, but I found out from an Insignia owners group the squeaking is a metal strip that attaches to the pad and when the friction material wears away it touches the inner part of the disc, thus making tje squealing/squeaking noise. Booked it in with Vauxhall tomorrow for replacement £129 incl vat and labour for oem parts, quite happy at that.

Morning men - sunny, but still too cold for my old bones up this part of the country. I'm taking the missus to Stockton this afternoon - she's taking some T shirts she bought me back to the shop 'cos they don't fit me very well

As we'll be round the corner from my brother, we'll pop in and say hello. We don't see a lot of each other, but we do talk on the phone every week. I think the passing of our sister has reminded us both that we aren't on Earth for ever, and we should talk to our siblings whilst we can

Evening all, a view across the back of the house shows everything greening up after the drought, we had some rain and most welcomed it was

I took Jessica to the dentist this afternoon. She recently had a root canal treatment. Today it came up as being infected and so it had to be pulled out. I am trying to think up some good news ......I am flying to London on 5 July and looking forward to getting behind the wheel of the Rover 75, seeing my mates and getting to the meets.
