Evening,
I need to replace my windscreen wiper blades. Any suggestions/recommendations regarding make/manufacture/price/supplier? Thanks for your help. Regards David |

After trying many cheaper alternatives I have always found Bosch wipers to be the best.
Your mileage may vary of course.

As above, Bosch are my favorites.
Also, Michelin Stealth although they are somewhat difficult to find. |

Another one for Bosch.
Many people will tell you of good cheap wipers but I have never found any that consistently are good and last. Bosch have never let me down. Just my opinion. |

Hi
Just fitted Michelin Stealth as recommended on a recent thread. Excellent! Also cleaned the windscreen using OOOO Wire wool and car shampoo. I've heard of other folk who have used a Clay Bar on the windscreen but the wire wool does a good job. Regards John

It has to be the very fine 0000 Wire Wool. Small circular motion ... it won't damage the glass. About £2.50 for 2 metres of it on eBay.
Without meaning to hi hack this thread.... I also used this wire wool on my slightly opaque headlights and then polished up with Auto Glym Super Resin Polish. Came up lovely. I've had a 3M Headlight Restore kit for about 18 months but have not got round to using it yet! Reminder. ... 0000 Wire Wool .... NOT a Brillo Pad! Regards John .

Be very sure you remove all traces of wire wool after you finish - it sounds obvious but if you do this late on in the day and run out of time ou could have a rusty mess by the next day.
