Default no positioning lights

hello I got no positioning lights in the front my bulbs seem fine, back positioning seem to be fine. I get a sidelight warning but only rights side but both don't work, took the light switch out to pour some dot4 into the clutch cylinder and noticed the lights switch connector contact pins had greenish residue, I cleaned it off with some alcohol & a qtip, i still have to take apart the connector and clean inside it, when I plug it back on at times only 1 dipped beam lights comes on I have to move the connector around to get the other light to come on, but my positioning lights don't come on at all, I thought i'd just get another lights switch but it ain't that simple is it? its gotta be programmed or something, I hear it could be an ECU problem as well, btw the lights only come up with the key in position 2 right? but the positioning should work without the key in ignition true?

Have you checked the wiring loom behind the headlights? They are known to rub on the chassis leg.

Give the light switch connectors a thorough clean with contact cleaner and get rid of the green goo
Should all be fine after
