Default mg zt / 75 diesel back box

Hi all, question for them in the know.

Since putting the zt rear bumper on my car the back box exhaust pipes fall short.

Is there a way round this and please think about your answer as chrome tips may not be an option as the exhaust tips face downward and a zt back box is not the cheapest for a new one to solve the problem.
PLUS I BELIEVE THEY ARE THE SAME ?
cheers in advance for any replies

They're not the same - the pipes are longer on the ZT item.
You need to extend the pipes, or put up with how it is now.

I have the same issue on my ZT, where the back box was replaced with a R75 version with the shorter tailpipes. It looked daft so I have fitted straight stainless steel exhaust tips. The tips were about £9 each off ebay and were a bit too long so needed cutting down slightly, but don't look too bad.

Default back box

Hi,
yes I done the same, but I cut off the 2 tale pipes and got a mate to weld them on, not to bad and a lot cheaper!
