Sell a variety of clips that can be found around the car.

8502260901VR - These are the ones that secure the boot carpet to the base board.

Default Replacement Keys via Lates

The all inclusive costs to supply and code in an additional key and fob assembly is £141.
The vehicle will need to come to Coventry / Rugby to be coded in. The key will arrive precut and immobiliser coded to the vehicle.
The visit to see us will enable to fob portion of the key to be programmed.
Prior to me placing an order I will need to see, scanned images of your drivers license and first two pages of your V5C.
Send them over as attachments to my email address Lates@Lates600.com with a contact telephone number. If you have no scanner please email me again for a postal address so we can receive photocopies.

There is no exception to this rule. No docs + no phone number = no key.

I have received many calls and emails saying its our new car etc we have no log book etc.You would never guess how many come back after 4 weeks. It doesnt leave much to the imagination I can tell you.

From placing the order to receiving the key usually takes ten working days.
I will then drop you a line to arrange a mutually convenient time to finalise the arrangements.

During coding, if you wish to change your options like speed locking, lazy venting etc please ask while the key is being done. This will be done free of charge.

Hope this helps but please if you do have any questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact me.

Edit: Price change gents, courtesy of BMW.

Jatco Auto box repairs and info

Note never remove this bolt

IMPORTANT NOTICE: On the back of the unit, located above the drive shaft is a location bolt for the brake band. This is a 19ml Hex/Special Torx bolt. This is often mistaken for the level plug . IT IS NOT. Please do NOT remove this as it cannot be refitted without stripping the box apart. If this is removed you will lose reverse gear

Default Tourer tail light tip

The Tourer rear clusters are held in by two screws and a couple of ball head clips

The screws can rust in place and worse they screw into an insert that can break loose and then it will rotate in a totally useless fashion when you try to undo it!

The ball clips can be broken especially if trying to get the cluster off from a rusted screw

I recommend regularly removing the screws and applying some grease say every 6 month or so but at least annually when refitting do not over tighten

I also recommend as they are cross heads that Torx screws are used instead

I noticed this less than ideal design "feature" on my ZT-T.

Default Auto Gearbox Selector Indicators

The auto selector LED's recently stopped working on my 2005 conn se cdti. I decided to check the fuse box even though there was no reference to these lights, it turned out to be the reverse lights 5A fuse that had blown. So if your auto indicator lights stop working there is a good chance that your reversing lights have packed up aswell, hope this proves useful to someone.
