Looks fairly decent for the money and mileage, just do the usual checks and go from there.

Looks decent enough but I'm not sure about that drainpipe for an exhaust

I thought that £325 VED per year was a lot for a diesel auto but Ireland wants 710 euros! Do they not like older cars?

Anything before 2008 you pay a higher road tax on.....
It goes by the size of the engine....had a 2.8 litre petrol and the road tax was 1300 euros per year....

Looks nice in the photos but all cars do mainly, as above do the usual checks, and if you do purchase it, remove the synergy, and have the 160 upgrade, replace the bolts also on the slam panel for the air duct.
Full service including cleaning the manifold out, EGR, & MAP sensor, not forget the PCV filter, do the demist test on the fan.

Strangely enough, I went from a Passat (B5.5) to the ZT, they are like night and day. Health to enjoy.
