There is a way of getting into the BOOT on the saloon but I'm not sure how you get the tail gate on the tourer open.--
If there is a way in then yes, you could check the inside fuses. Any help out there about a way in through the tail-gate ??? And open the doors with the internal levers. |

My drivers door glass is actually very badly scratched........ (and West St isn't what it was anyway. Plenty of places selling alcohol, but few recognisable "pubs").

From bad to badder - when I DO get into the car it feels like I'll also have to get into the engine bay to reconnect the bonnet pull cable into the black box. Ho hum. If I had any hair left yesterday I don't now. (PM me with suggestions on that one....)

To put it into some sort of time frame for you, I normally ended up in Josephine's in Barkers Pool, or if things were not so good Cairo Jax's............worse again The Roxy down on Arundel Gate. I bet none of these places exist any more......I still have a soft spot for my time working in Steel City Brian |

There is a fuse involved in the ENGINE fuse box.
It's fuse 14 ( 20 amp. ) If this is blown the door locks won't operate. ( Diesel ) If the fuse in the passenger fuse box has gone and can't be reached, then a single strand power supply ( from the battery. But if flat connected to a charged battery by jump leads to the in-car battery.) can be taken directly to fuse 14 mentioned above. This will bypass fuse No FL2 in the car. ( IF blown. ) This will require the bonnet to be opened but there is forum information on how to do that. Last edited by COLVERT; 27th June 2020 at 21:58.. |
