All I have to say is it's a good thing I don't own acreage, or even worse, acreage with a barn!

Oh god. If I had a barn I wouldn’t sell a single car!

Whacked the end of the puller with a club hammer and felt a burning sensation on the arm , looked down 1 inch gash and a lot of blood.
Trip to the drs , nurse wasn't sure if anything still in the cut , choice of clean it and see or hospital for x-ray.....chose the first option

Stan[/QUOTE]

Following on from this I am now sat on ward 4 at the royal Preston hospital awaiting surgery to remove a piece of metal. Plus it's infected around the cut.
Oh the Joy's of working on cars
Should of picked the 2nd option

Stan

Don't have barn unfortunately, just 8 brick and slate garages and a yard. The garages used to be stables but the previous owner had them converted. I had them smartened up with new roller doors in 1995, but still have not had the yard re-surfaced - with so many cars you can't really see much of it !

So now at home , total of 12 stitches, 6 inside and 6 outside.
The piece of metal is out and was only 2mm square .
More worrying is the fact that is not infected but the circular lump that was there was attached to the muscle, and has now been removed and sent for testing.
1 week of no driving and 2 weeks of no heavy lifting so the seat and wiring can wait.
Model time is is then

Hi Stan.
Nice to hear you back and you got the metal out, its never really good to ignore any cut that you think is quite bad, also always best to clean out any cut no matter how small, nasty things can happen as men we sometimes think Ho that hurt and then try to take no notice but its not really good, anyways rest up and take care all the best Arctic.
