Not the quietest/fastest/smoothest etc. machine but it only costs £50. You'll be looking at 4x that for a "Rolls Royce" DA and maybe 3x that for a middling Rotary. https://www.argos.co.uk/product/8647...polisher:1:8:1

It comes with a big pad so all you'll need is some polish.

PM me your address and I'll send you a few bits and pieces to get you going.

Andy.

Hi Andy,

I made a snap decision and ordered one.
I’m at work at the moment so will post the details up later when I get home .

Thanks once again for your help

Morning folks.
Well, that's settled the dust - rained most of yesterday afternoon, all of last night and most of this morning up 'til now. Is there any possibility that Jeff has sneaked into North Yorkshire without being noticed?

Almost glad our jollies had to be cancelled

There is always a plus point! I have had the week off work only for it to rain for most of it, I managed to get a few jobs done though so all was not lost.

Tis filling me butts up as I type Still got that flamin' strong wind too, When the BBC say moderate breeze it means your garden furniture needs to be tied down, top heavy planters need to be moved & the strawberry plants moved back into the greenhouse for fear of them being stripped off the plants. The trees across the back are bending like heck in some gusts.

Looks yummy...

This is the polisher I ordered in the end.

Should be arriving tomorrow .

I took on board what you said about a rotary polisher so hope this will do the job if I go slow and steady.

Cool

Evening all. Been a funny old day weather wise. Torrential rain followed by blue sky and warm sunshine.

Essential shopping this morning.

Then two trips to the tip, can only go on even days according to the even numbers on your number plate. So today got rid of everything. Social distancing in tip for the vehicles.

Chilling with a Henry Weston this evening.

I have purchased a couple of bottles of rattler, I thought I’d give it a try...
