Well that has been a busy one, took the dogs out this morning (Forgot door key so had to get Deb back from work)

Cut the grass then broke the lawnmower just as I was finishing.

Painted a bootlid, painted the trike frame, changed a dead engine mount.

Fed the birds in the garden, had a bath now having a beer!

Just had an improvised VE Day party - 4 neighbours, each sticking to their own gardens, so well apart. Some quickly baked cakes were sorted, with a few sarnies and sausage rolls. We started off as afternoon tea - ended up as a bit of a booze up, with SWMBO on Rosé and me seeing off three quarters of a bottle of Californian Merlot - hic.
Now sitting down to watch the Dad's Army film on ITV+1 - after which |I shall probably fall asleep

Thanks to all who gave their lives to provide us with the freedoms we have today - may your sacrifices NEVER be forgotten.

Sounds good Rod, we only have one neighbour (the joys of living in the middle of nowhere)

Our celebrations involve Deb & I, a bottle of wine and a few bottles of ale.

Doesn't matter how or where we celebrate, the fact is we remember the guys and girls who gave their lives so we can be here today and enjoy life how we choose

Yesterday didn’t go to plan and as a result I made 20 new friends, got sunburnt, drank two bottles of wine and finally came in at 10pm.

Will go shopping today.
