In this world of "throw it away and get another one", it's nice to know some things have longer lifespan.
One of my/our tasks during lockdown has been to categorise and identify the 100s (1,000s) of family photographs that we have collected over the years, starting with dad's Box Brownie, so that following generations can see who/what they represent.
Found a B+W photo this morning of me and mother standing outside our holiday accommodation - a guest house in Hawkeshead in the Lake District.
Under a magnifying glass, I can see that the name of the place was Ivy House. On checking the web. the place is STILL a guesthouse today and as the photograph was taken in 1962, it would seem it has survived nigh on 58 years (hopefully they've changed the bed linen in the meantime).

You have to go back and recreate the photo, that would be superb

I'm not putting on short trousers (complete with ironed creases on the front!) and a pair of Jesus sandals (if you can remember them!) for any flippin' photographer
