Afternoon all, The sun has broke through the clouds & it's a glorious day now, I'm re-potting some plants in the greenhouse & the thermometer says 31C in here.

It’s beautiful down here, strangely I saw a few people on bikes and walking today, wonder where they all were yesterday when it was raining, I did the same route and saw no one!

Mush! Andy It looks like you've got a dog team pulling you along on a sled.

Good plan! I’m sure I could knock something up in the garage.. would probably need another half a dozen collies to pull it though 🤣

I don't think Andy is walking really - he's on one of those wheeled sledges, being pulled along by the dogs - mush, mush !!

Good idea keeping the dogs on leads, thete have been a few local farmers posting on a fb group from my home village about people using public footpaths that run through their farm yatds and fields that having lambs and expectant ewes in and they let the dogs run free. One farm lost 13 lambs overnight last week in what appeared to be a dog attack. Needless to say he threatened to shoot any dog off a lead he saw on his land. Dont let anything happen to your 2 lovely girls.
Not that I'm insinuating you're an irresponsible dog owner of course You just need to be careful as farmers are a bit tetchy just now.

Afternoon all, I was going to have an afternoon potting on plants but the grid under the kitchen window was blocked A couple of drain rods down the grid & it cleared OK.
I put the last ham shank out of the freezer on slow roast all morning to make pea & ham soup for tea, It smells good

I'm growin' me own soup this year lots of leeks, onions, carrots, celery & spuds will be ready for Autumn.

Evening all, no sheepies around here Rich (Or any other far animals for that matter) Plenty of Deer, rabbits, kestrels, red kites and a few other interesting animals.

I take your point about dogs running loose though, there are only a couple of places that we let them off the lead around here.

Been seeing lots on fb about dogs sheep covid19 and footpaths.
I have of course discovered it’s also a platform for whingers and moists.

Morning all, lovely sunny start to the day here

It’s the once weekly shopping day today. Aldi will be my chosen destination and will be heading there for about 08.30hrs.

I may knock up some Toad in the hole for dinner today
