Cool Rover 75 Tourer V6 2.5L in Royal Blue (Premium Grill).****SOLD

Hi all,

it is time to depart from my V9 ROV, a manual V6 2.5L Tourer Contemporary SE in Royal Blue (JFM). Simple reason is that I cannot drive two cars and I cannot say goodbye to my first ever car (which is my R75 Saloon Diesel). The tourer only got 1,500 miles last year. This is your chance to get probably one of the best V6 tourers out there!

General

- Contemporary SE, manual, heated memory seats, auto dimming mirror, sunroof, factory fitted Xenons and lampwash, cruise and powerfolds (chrome covers)
- Facelift model, ’54 plate (BX54 HTL)
- Two keys
- Full size spare wheel (Rainsport 3) and space saver
- Tow bar with chrome cover (brand new)
- 120,000 miles, replacement engine (sub 60k) in February 2017
- Oil changed circa every 6,000 miles
- 12 months MOT (28th June 2021), no advisories for almost a decade
- Sold with private plate: V9 ROV

- Genuine MGR premium bumper with a fully refurbished stainless grille using stainless fittings/clips
- MGR Rover 75 V8 splitter, which is not normally fitted when the premium bumper was ordered as an option to non-V8 cars
- Ex MGR ‘fleet’ car with factory fitted monogram duotone letter seats (the driver’s seat bolster was professionally repaired in February 2017)
- 325mmm (MGZT 190) front brake upgrade with powder-coated calipers
- Genuine PPD walnut dash
- Walnut contemporary steering wheel and gear knob
- Underfloor polystyrene tool tray
- ‘BizzyLizzy’ coolant temperature gauge fitted to five-button panel
- Doors, floor and boot covered with soundproofing
- Other PPD additions including long battery securing bolts, seat belt nut covers etc.
- Genuine MGR tourer warning triangle
- Original MGR dog guard
- Reversing camera
- Brand new MGR mats

Repairs/Renewals

- Engine swap, clutch and slave cylinder renewed (LUK parts), alternator replaced (genuine MGR), new thermostat, all belts renewed and general service in February of 2017 by Dave ‘Turbo Dave’ Johnstone of DJ Autos of Fence Houses
- Master cylinder fitted later in 2017
- Complete rebuild and renewal of rear suspension (including professionally refurbished sub-frame, new anti-roll bar and bushes, springs, dampers, drop links, strut top mounts, both arms and all bolts replaced etc.)
- Front springs, drop links and strut top mounts replaced
- Stocktake VIS motors
- Usual upgrades: handbrake compensator, gold cooling fan resistor, loadspace/boot leaks sealed, Jules plenum guard, plenum chamber spy-hole etc.
- brand new front discs & pads
- Replaced rear heated screen/window with second-hand replacement one with all lines working
- All wheel bearings replaced
- Stainless coolant pipes fitted
- New brake pipes 2019
- Longlife stainless steel exhaust
- Professionally undersealed at Pristine Autos (Newcastle-upon-Tyne)
- Removal of previously installed aftermarket walnut trim

Bad bits

- Navall 2 which I would replace if keeping the car (touch screen not responsive) but all main functions work fine
- Driver’s heel pad/mat worn
- Headlights could do with polish
- Small dink in rear offside door (smart repair)
- Stone chips (to be expected at 16 years)

Car is located in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. PM me if you have any questions.

No tyre kickers! If you want to see the car (under social distancing rules), I happily provide a freshly brewed coffee.

Asking price: £2,200 ovno

Cheers

Mats
