Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

I've rekindled my brewing enthusiasm since March, Now on my third brew this year. I've brewed; John Bull London Porter (6% ABV) aka 'Pandemic Porter', Coopers Family secret Amber with added malt aka 'Anti-viral Amber', and I'm currently conditioning some Woodfordes Wherry in the barrel - name to be determined. The Amber finished and I used the dregs of the barrel for the yeast and liquid component to make bread which was yummy. Still have a gallon of Porter left, I need to finish it or bottle the remainder soon.

Yesterday, I bought and started at 14:00 a 5gal batch of Wilko's Geordie Scottish Export, again with the iSpindel monitoring its progress. The iSpindel's graph suggested the fermentation began at 18:15.

..and it's fermentation was complete 5 days later, with the iSpindel reporting 1.0057 SG. The instructions said 7 days with a final gravity of 1.005, so I waited and watched a further two days to see if the SG went any further down, then transferred to my 500ml bottles with 2mg of sugar in each, then waited for the secondary fermentation to complete.

Two days later, SWMBO was sampling it and sampling it - guess she must like and approve of it I have just opened a bottle to try myself, whilst typing this - it tastes quite good. Like a cross between a beer and a larger, quite a light beer. I need another now
