Morning Andy

I am just about to do mine... I was going to put it in the tailgate but it seems like too much messing about.
So I've decided to put it between the parking sensors!

Just waiting for the money to get the extra loom and work out the relay connections for the TV module..!!

Let me know how you get on :-)

Question

I will be having a go tomorrow, going to fit a kenwood kvt 627 dvd system to replace the original, and the camera should fit straight on but im a bit stumped as to whether to put it onto the stereo loom, ignition live and ground it to the car and would this be ok?

I mounted a flush mount camera between the middle parking sensors on mine, wired it into ignition so it was on all the while and on my head unit when I wanted to see behind me I just pushed the button and there it was, worked brill, and coz it was on the curve of the bumper it was the furthest back part of the car, so easy to see when to stop! And you could see the tow ball so i could hitch up really easily, best mod I ever did that camera was

Thumbs up

Well finally got the camera fitted, didnt fancy drilling the bumper so fitted it below the bumper and wired it in works a treat, would definately recomend this mod on the tourer as rear vision is very limited.
