Default Vaillant Combi Boiler Leak!!

Hi guys i've seen a couple of threads on here asking for help with boiler problems so thought i would try myself. Basically my boiler has been dripping for a while but is working fine and when the pressure gets too low i've just been topping it up again, any way today i decided to have a look and after a couple of false hopes i've traced the leak. I had hoped it was just a loose pipe connection but alas not !

THE LEAK IS FROM THE TOP OF THE BLACK OBJECT ON THE TOP LEFT

CLOSER PICTURE

A BLURRY (sorry) IMAGE OF ACTUAL WATER SPRAYING OUT

Not very clear but the leak is from the top, i can't see with eye as their is a wall just to the left of boiler but can get the camera in.

So basically i've found leak but no idea what the part is that is leaking ?
Can anyone tell me if their is a easy fix i.e. K-SEAL or a resin that could be applied to the hole to plug it ?
It does stop leaking and can be dried up when the hot water is running but as its something to do with the hot water i'm guessing it will be no good for k-seal ?
Ideally looking for a fix to get through xmas time till finance is better placed to deal with but an idea of part name and rough idea of cost to fix properly would be very welcome . Thanks in advance for any help chers Tam.

You say that when the pressure gets low you just top it up again. That means it must be on the CENTRAL HEATING side and not the mains hot water.
You can use something in the system like radweld in cars.
Any plumbers merchant will sell it.
Find the draindown point in your system. At the bottom of one of your rads normally.
Let, say, a gallon of water out of the valve.
Then go to the highest radiator in the system and remove the top bleed screw and pour in the system sealer.
Replace the screw and repressurise the system and as you do you will have to let out any trapped air in the rads using the top air bleed screws.
Start the central heating and in a short while the leak should seal itself.
This is a temporary cure though it can last for months and sometimes years.

You can hold a small mirror behind an object and take a photo like that sometimes if you can't fit a camera in.

Sorry John i fully intended to thank you aswell i only quoted Mark as the situation had changed and had become obvious that the cheap fix option really wouldn't work as the pressure and amount of water coming out is now to much i think for radweld to seal . I did go buy some radweld but will keep it in shed with the collection of rover bits i intended to fit but never quite managed to summon up the will or expertise to fit, heated washer jets to name but one .
I'm allways impressed by the help available on this forum with all manner of problems and i'm glad people like yourself, Mark and Dave who PM'ed me are on hand to help. So thanks to all involved and merry xmas to all !!:xmas-smiley-031:
