Hi John, got my plate from http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ROVER-75-R...#ht_1262wt_932. Ken was very helpful when I ordered my plate. He should already have the club logo graphic. You can email him at [email protected] to check beforehand.

A word of caution though, you need to obtain the permission of a Mod to use the club logo. A quick email to any of them normally suffices.

How bizarre...most companies would snatch my hand off for free publicity, but fair enough, I'll do that

Interestingly I'd guess that it's also possible to have confusion (both human and ANPR) with completely legal registrations. For example, my neighbours car reg starts YS55 and is not misrepresented in any way, but actually looks pretty much like Y555 (and I'd guess the spacing isn't any different under the rules? )

I don't really care if some guy mis-spaces the letters on his plates to more accurately spell his name (contrary to popular misconception is doesn't affect ANPR). But I do care about the fact my local park is littered with dog-filth that my children tread home and there are no wardens or police enforcing the law. I also care about the fact that after dusk, gangs of youths congregate round street corners and generally make a nuisance of themselves, defacing property and terrorising the elderly who are too scared to go outside and tell them to clear off, for fear of reprisals. I also care about the fact that certain areas of big cities are no-go areas after dark for fear of being mugged or stabbed and there are no coppers to be seen. And one reason there are no coppers to be seen is because our under-resourced and over-stretched police are under instruction to drive around looking for cars whose number-plates have mis-spaced letters, or something else equally banal like hiding down a deserted country lane miles away from anywhere at 3am with a speed camera, hoping to catch someone doing 80mph in a 60-zone.

There I've said it.
Having attended more KSI incident in the wee small hours I have no sympathy for people that get caught

That aside, don't blame the police, they are only I forcing laws that politicians give them

This latest campaign is part of the Olympic security measures. & is a very effective way to both deter and catch law breakers

Don't forget we all pay for un insured drivers, so the more that are caught the better

It's all good and well saying the Police have better things to do than this, but I'd ask the same for the people who feel they need to muck about with their number plates.

This is the way you loose all your liberties.
"Well, I have nothing to hide, so why not let them do it?"

The fact is, I was not put on this earth to be ruled by others. I don't know if you were?
Demand to rule your own life, or others will surely do it for you.!

stand up for something, or fall for everything.
