Took me 2 days to clean it!
Back from Lake district my tourer was in such a state that i felt so sorry for it!
Boot full of dog fur, mud... floor on the rear seats full of sand and mud (courtesy of the kids + wife) and idem on the front.... various tissues and chocolate warping around the whole car... door cards with mud marks from shoes and the body full of dust and mud... Alloys dirty as well.... I started off from the back working my way forward. took me 1 day to hoover and clean the interiors... Took the opportunity to put the additional 12V socket in the under arm component, did the wiring and works all well. Day 2 was spent on washing the car. It was full of so much **** that i had to make the compressor work hard. then after drying came the polishing... sooo time consuming... but what a result! Took the opportunity to install the door finishers too. But after 2 days im happy that the car looks like it just came out of the factory! |

Door Repair
Managed to get a good use of the 1st warm sunday of the year.
Some idiot tried to brake in to the car when I was in poland and literaly smashed my door lock, door was well damaged with deformed pannel.... today I managed to swap door. what a job that it was... took all panels out, glass out (The door i got had the registration number of that car itched on it), and the lock drum.... managed to put every thing together. good as new. will post some pics soon. |

Some people don't have any respect for another man's stuff..... Unbelieveable...
Changing a 75's door is quite a challenge indeed, not only for the door panel. Also the lock can be quite annoying... Good that you've repaired it!

Xenons now fitted.
After a long time in saving money I finally managed to further Upgrade my 75.
Got the xenons fitted. At the moment they work with the manual leveling from the switch pack. Will be working on the auto leveling sensors soon. still not decided on the washers though.... Must admit they look great. I actually got a MG ZT xenons, (black surrounding). It does look good with the Royal blue bumpers. Last edited by Dragrad; 14th August 2014 at 21:24.. Nice upgrade! Does update the car!
That's something which is on my list too, but LHD Xenon's are hard to find...
