Managed to get the gardening done before the rains came. Switched to changing the lamp shades over in the 3 bedrooms and hallway. Now they all match, much better than the 3 odd one’s. Neither hallways had shades anyway.

Got my Poopy pictures up in the lounge plus my Poppy display on the bookcase.

Evening all, been away to Chester for my daughter’s graduation ceremony last two days, a very grand affair it was too. Just got home about 4.30. Absolutely exhausted again now, after all that’s gone on over last few months. Appointment with solicitor tomorrow afternoon, then funeral on Tuesday, after that we can have closure and try to move on with everyday life. As one chapter closes ,with the funeral of my aunt, another one opens and I will have to start emptying the house☹️Not something I relish.

I was driving round for ten minutes trying to find her, I went back to the heart ward, not there! I was worried sick, I went around both car parks & just spied her blue hood on her jacket halfway up the road we came in She was absolutely tired out & could hardly move. I don't know why the heck she started walking all the way up there when I said stay here She's getting very forgetful.

And I bet she wondered what all the fuss was about. Our mum was the same too, just as she was before she became a bit forgetful. Born in an era of independence and make do and mend.

Yesterday, I bought a new alarm clock from Argos - radio controlled, no tick, auto backlight off - all the bells and whistles.
On the instructions leaflet, it places great emphasis on the fact that it is "accurate to 1 second in 10,000,000 years".
Does this mean that in 9,999,999 year's time I can claim a refund if it's 2 seconds slow
