Thanks for the info. I have found out its actually a Westwood rim, 26" x 1 3/8. Cycle shop is ordering in a new rim, and are going to respoke it, and refit original hub. Hope to pick it up on Saturday, all being well.

Picked the new rear wheel up yesterday. The shop guy had damaged the rear hub, taking it off the old wheel, so had fitted a new one. Will it last 50 years like the original? I doubt it, but then again, it's unlikely to see much action.
Started to put the black bits back on today so she's starting to look herself again.. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1391282352.166578.jpg Now just the shiney bits to do... ImageUploadedByTapatalk1391282400.536352.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1391282422.216797.jpg

It now looks the business Sean. Well done in finding the horizontal decal. Looks just like the one I had although mine had a cross bar. Good work

Finally....
OK... all done (almost).
Looking a bit better if i do say so myself. Got the decals (3 off) from hlloydcycles.com. Very good service, and reasonable, about £12 for 3 decals. The one below was fairly easy..just peel, stick and remove backing. The other two were a different type, and unfortunately didnt survive my ham-fisted transfer. I guess ill buy some replacements and try again. Nice to know that the dynamo and lights still work, albeit the front bulb is a bit dim, and should probably be changed. Somehow i dont think itll get any night-time action anytime soon. My mam was over the moon when she saw her old bike all done up. She did try it out, but couldn't figure out how she used to swing her leg up over the cross member, the old lady-like way... No jokes please. She said the saddle was too high (its as low as it goes), so reckons she has shrunk. So, when i have to go to the shop.....the 75 or the bike...? Thanks for looking.
