Default Triumph spitfire parts

This is more testing the water, years ago my Dad gave me his old Triumph spitfire based kitcar, I bought a replacement engine that was running at the time, but has now been sat for around 6 years, I think it came with a gearbox, and 2 big boxes of assorted bits and pieces. I never got round to doing anything with it. The garage that its all in was my Nan's who sadly passed away last year and so we now need to clear the garage out (made a bit hard by the fact the keys have gone walkies).

Would there be anyone on here interested in any spitfire bits, from memory it either MK3 or MK4, 99% its the 1300 engine. This is just bits like brakes lights etc, no body panels or seats, just small bits. not sure what good they'll be but I can guarantee they'd all be very cheap. The parts are in Bristol, I live in Corby, but I'm going down next weekend so might be able to have a look through and see what bits are there if anyone wants.

Let me know if you or anyone you know is interested.

*edit* I found some photos of the bits and pieces...

To comply with Club Rules on selling, you need to put some prices up

These damn rules! Lol £70 for the lot.....

But open to any offer on any individual part or the whole lot... Just want it gone and a bit of cash in my pocket....

*edit* think there may be a set of 4 or 5 steel wheels in there as well.

As for the rules of selling ... I'll let this one slide, as ono is really applicable to whole cars What we need to to do is avoid any "auction" type of situation as this can really disrupt friendships within the Club

Don't worry, I'm not looking for anything like that, within reason, the first genuine offer will take it... Only bit I may keep is the engine as something for my son to play about with in the garage.

If it had been a 1500 I would have been interested. The gearbox alone would be worth the £70!

I'll double check when I go down if I get a chance. the original car was a 1300 and I'm 99% sure it's a 1300 I bought but I may be wrong. Any way of checking if the gearbox is from a 1300 or 1500?

Unfortunately I'm no expert, but its different to mine, so I imagine that it is from a 1300.

I've just looked at the photos again, the rear light clusters look like they have come off a mkIV or a 1500.

Thanks, when I get down there Thursday I'll have a good look for the key and then hopefully bring all the bits back here where I can take more photos of the bits and see whats what.
