I talk with him a couple of times a week, he was not only a stalwart of the forum, but a great personal friend of mine too.

As long as Brian and his family are all ok, that’s what really matters.

There is not much if anything that either Brian or Phil T4 couldn't help us with.Sadley one is no longer around and the other only pops in occasionally.I needed to get the mileage chip transferred across to the new instrument pack for my Rover 45 and asked on the forum if there were any recommendations.Up stepped Brian to volunteer and he turned it round in 3 days.I'm not sure who else I could have asked or indeed how much it would have cost but Brian didn't charge me a penny. So it was not only 75's that he helped out with.

I talked to Brian from time to time off the forum, it’s a real shame that he is not participating on the forum, not only is Brian a true gentleman and one of the most honest and helpful members I’ve ever had the privilege of meeting, but I also class him as a good friend, even being a T4 operator, there are still times when even I need to pick up the phone and quiz his brain, watching him work is like watching the master.
One thing is for sure, the forum is a poorer place without him. Mick

Apart from the absolute wealth of knowledge, the amount of times he has helped or offered to help me and others around the world is well known.
We all have different opinions on various things but that is part of a healthy debate and god forbid we all are silenced into only one point of view as we will all be in a poorer situation with the sharing of information. I have never met Brian but every time i needed some form of help he was always there with great information that very few on this forum were able to provide. I really dont get that a guy that helped alot of us is banned for having a point of view. If some people cant take alternative views they should really not be on a forum!! |

Just to clarify, Brian was not banned. His profile shows as having ' retired ' as he asked to leave the club on or around 10th July.
I agree it was a loss to the club, his knowledge about our cars is second to none. I for one am sad he's no longer here but I understand and respect his decisions. Ronnie if you see him, please pass on my best wishes |
