I knew it was too easy, perhaps they are not compatible, either that or I do not have projector headlights

You obviously don't have projector headlights Steve, and i seem to remember saying 20w wouldn't be very bright The only, in my opinion, improvement to reflector lights, are Osram Nightbreakers, or Philips Night vision halogen bulbs

Majority of cree kits at cheap money are just led units, technology will get cheaper but it's not that cheap yet

That seller usually has very good kit. All the LEDs in my ZT are from them.

Absolutely right. I fitted after market HID replacements to my reflectors (the so called, reflector-friendly variety) and the light output, while certainly stronger than LED replacements and whiter than halogens, was still disappointing. I've had them in for 18 months but will be replaceing them soon with Osram night breakers. No can bus problem with them though. One thing I will say in their favour is that the bulbs must last longer because I had to change halogens several time over the previous 18 months!

Just regular bulbs. I don't mind them.

The Osram Nightbreakers are not too bad .You still get that yellow tinge. If you are looking the clear white look your better to get a Xenon conversion kit.

Osram Nightbreakers

Xenon conversion kit 8000k with additional LED side lights

Side to side comparison

If you want that clear white look Steve, I would suggest Xenon 4000k conversion kit and the LED's
