So I needed the brake doing on the rover so I looked into this (and bigruss thanks so much for the advise again it was super) for a cple of mths

as the front ones needed badly I got a cple of quotes

ebay for disc all round and pads good ones £180 the had to be fitted 3 hours work

my garage 500 yards away from house was going to charge me £300 i said no way dude,

horners did the job for £260 i got the 10%

the car was picked up by horners at 10am and dropped off at 3pm

as her in doors paid for this one i needed a good garage so again horners is the one for me

they also cleaned my callipers all round,

thanks so much to horners and phil

They are quite handy for me so it's reassuring to know there's a garage you can trust around who are also friendly and competitive on price.

I suspect they'll be getting some work from me when the need arises.

I took the car to horners regarding the ongoing problem with electric windows. 5 minutes later they swapped the driver cluster for another and it works. Turns out old one has short somewhere. I asked how much for the fix and part and the guy said I could have it no charge.
I refused the free part so I gave him a tenner for his trouble.
wonderful customer service and help.
I will be visiting them when needs arise again for sure.

Default repairs

had my car repaired at horners recently.
parts ordeded by them were
New water pump , , power steering belt, alternator belt, radiator and coolant
i ordered a thermostat housing from dmgrs as they were cheapest for £24 compared to £72 quoted from horners.
jobs done and now its running fine
