Mileage readout errors
Hi,
Picked up my first 75 yesterday and have noticed the following. When I viewed the car last week it had 16600 on the clock. Yesterday it had 16972 and this is what the purchase paperwork read. Today it reads 18120. It has missed out 17k altogether! I will contact Thomas Day tomorrow about it but is this a known issue? |

Happy with the car so far despite it telling me that I have driven it over 1000 miles in 24hrs. Also a bit concerned about the overheating issue on the 1.8. I will have to read more about this in the forums. Also the CD80 radio definitely needs updating! Steve |

Ive heard of a 75 Dash reading all the 999999 's but apparantly the true miles covered are stored somewhere in its deep memory and can be recovered to read correctly again if new display is fitted

What Les will want to know, do you have the High Line display unit
or the standard one? If you have Sat Nav it will be the Hi Line one. |

Don't see why the Display needs changing as it only relays what is stored.
The reset is just using T4, when Keith sees this I'm sure he will assist or anyone else. You could try shutting everything down, disconnecting battery for 40 mins then see if it resets, an alternator change should not cause this. |
