Default Mystery plugs

Hi all – I was just pulling my car apart for something to do… sad I know!
Behind the centre front roof light dome, I found three unconnected mystery plugs.

One has four wires from a 4 position black plug – White/yellow, Black, Purple, and Brown/green

One has three wires from a 4 position white plug – Black, Green, and Yellow/blue

One has two wires from a three position black plug – both orange (plugged into a blank socket of the light fitting itself.

Anyone know what these are for - or where they go?

The one that is plugged to a blank socket in the lamp unit is for the built in phone microphone that when fitted was located by the small grille on the side.

Another one will be the loom for the auto dimming mirror - so buy one from a scrappy and you can plug and play it!

The third will I think be the sunroof motor loom (not so easy to fit )

Thanks for the very quick reply Mike, much appreciated.

The microphone and rain sensor makes sense. Do you know where the microphone lead comes out of the loom at the other end?

I already have a sun roof so the third plug is not for that and I also have an auto dimming mirror so it’s not for that either. Wonder if it’s anything to do with the early alarm sensor (they changed places and type in later cars) or maybe a pre wire for someother part on a hands free kit – At least two of the mystery plugs are solved, I only have a mini mystery now…

Thanks again

The 4 connectors in the interior light should be:

Black Interior Light
Black Sunroof Motor
White Ocupancy sensor for the alarm
Black Handsfree Microphone.

The other end of the microphone cable is at the bottom of the windscreen pillar behind the dash - you can find it if you remove the panel under dash.

Gentlemen – I am in awe, Look at that, answers galore, my mystery is no more.

Seriously guys, thanks very much – I dont know what I would do without you all - I had exhausted all other resources here (which consists of a dealer who doesn’t care and a Haynes manual which doesn’t say)

PS sorry about the rhyme.
