rover 75 2.5 v6 connoisseur dash

i have just purchased a 51 plate and there is 1 symbol on the dash i can't workout it is between the heated seats and rear blind buttons can anyone tell me what it is for please it shows an arch with lines going underneath

Welcome to the club...

If it looks like a motorway sign, it's the cruise control button.

Check the right side of the steering wheel for the control buttons.

No, thats another feature.....

You can set a speed limit, and if you go over, you get a visual and audable warning.

Very handy for roadworks with speed cameras...

Definitely cruise control. You need to switch this button on before you can activate the cruise control button on rh side of steering wheel (note the system, will only work at speeds above 30mph - best to read your manual for full details)
