Default The car in front?

Is a toyota, wouldnt like it behind with the safety problems. The media would have had a field day if it had been MG Rover or Jaguar.

 With SAAB bering sold off, Toyota's `lack of braking' problems and Purgeots similar recalls, my Rover's looking better by the minute.
"The car in front is a Toyota" simply because he cannot stop.!!!! Mike.

Amazingly Honda's recall of 646,000 cars due to a 'fire risk' appears to have slipped under the media's radar

That didn't kill a family (as in US) allegedly due to accelerator lock down brakes not functioning and couldn't press the stop button as it only works when car stationary for safety.

CNN reported that the driver has to push the engine start/stop button for at least 3 seconds to shut down the engine while driving.

But I wouldt trust such a software implemented function as far as I can throw the car. We all know what crazy bugs can be found.

In the US papers it stated it failed to activate when told to do so over phone.
Has anyone else heard the commentary of the events on the phones leading up to crash with the family in the Lexus loosing their lives, in the UK?
I wasn't sure if it had been aired in UK.
