Stick the trim on with water proof clear tape until this has been resolved !
The old clips can be re attached using Tigerseal (from behind)

The original adhesive was too brittle.

Thanks Jules for Reviving this thread.

I have part sets of fixings available. If members want complete sets I need some idea of how many might be required as the stainless steel replacement fasteners have to be ordered as a bulk quantity.

Please can you list your interest by adding to this thread? I'll leave it a couple of weeks before deciding whether the interest is there for another order of fasteners.

The adhesive I use is Wacker Elastocil E43 clear. It gives immediate 'grab' and stays flexible when dry, so no more parting of the fasteners from the stainless steel trim.

A hole set would be idea but at this post I am missing one off the two small square ones are for the bottom corners, and two off the ones on the bottom edge then rest are unstuck and could be reattached. Do you have the ones that I am missing please and how many short off a set do you have. I would order another set for use in years to come or does anyone have a spare set that I could use now then replace. I do not want to risk damaging the moonshine paint with cable ties or tape so the car will be off the road until this is resolved.

If you get another interest what are the lead times from that point?

Silver solder fixes the problem permanently

However it is a time consuming job to carefully polish the outer face to remove the bluing from the stainless trim after you have brazed the fasteners to the back

What you need to take into account is each and every one of the fixings are a slightly different shape, but with careful alignment during the repair, you'll never need to do the job again

I tried loads of ways to keep mine attached but only http://www.tec7.be/en/products/tec7 worked for me. It has loads of flexibility and bonds the fittings really well on the frame with time to move them around. Mine hasn't moved in 3 years....all other things I tried were either too brittle (Epoxy) or didn't have enough adhesion (silicone sealant).

And another week passes by and indeed it is now a month since posting on here and still no final fix solution in site.
The two weeks or so that Jezzer1 set to see if there was enough interest to get a another batch made up has long passes and indeed he has not been logged in since the 6th June nor has he replied to my email. I also inquired about buying another car that was advertised on hear to fill the gap until a a proper fix could be put in place and to uses as a daily so I could keep the other car for best and again no reply from them.
I know it was hot last week as I was working in temps between 35°C and 45°C so is it that everyone has gone on Holiday to the Med to keep cool and we are already in the silly season where you can not get anything done or what?

Talking off which my holiday will be coming round in about a month's time and the time to sort this out before then is slipping by.
