I don't know where that performance came from but that is probably the best I've seen Arsenal play in the last ten years, with a much depleted defence too.Every player was full of fight, something that has been lacking in pivotal games for many seasons.Credit where credit is due but I'm still of the opinion that Wenger should walk away while his reputation is lagely still intact.Just.

A great performance from arsenal as you say, mick. That's as good as they get. If they played like that all season, they would of won the league. Consistency is a problem for arsenal, especially against the big guns. Even as a Man Utd fan, on their day, arsenal are the best team to watch in the league. So free flowing Arsenal will announce later next week what his decision is.

Couldn't agree more, oval ball guys are real all round athletes and 'wysiwyg' - but, only watched snippets of the 2nd half yesterday and IMO that match was a great advert for soccer. On the day, two good sides (and I'm from nearby Manchester) playing end to end stuff. Fast, skillful and entertaining (and generally in good spirit with due respect for the officials) so let's have more of that in the Premiership in future.
Come on the Lions....our UK/Ireland team.

Wenger arrogant as ever today whinging about 'disrespectful fans' not supporting the team this season while the games were being played.Well Arsene when you treat them with contempt and disrespect be prepared for a little back. The fans protests were born out of pure frustration of poor league results and a manager who is prepared to listen to nobody.Never once did we see a performance like that of yesterday during this season either in the league or Champions league. In fact we were completely humiliated (10-2 agg)by Bayern Munich,I was 'fortunate' to be at the Emirates for the home leg .Not to mention the the limp defeats to Cystal Palace and West Brom, but hey he did manage to beat Mourinho at his 15th attempt Time to go Arsene, thank you and goodbye
