It is believed that the later PRT reduced the likelihood of cylinder head thermal shock leading to head gasket failure. I don't buy this theory at all. but hey ho I am allowed my own opinion on this matter. https://the75andztclub.co.uk/forum/s...ad.php?t=72206 |

Just because items are stainless steel, don't believe they cannot rust. Rust resistant would be better. In contact wih rust they can and do rust, eventually.
As an experiment, use some steel wool in or near your stainless steel kitchen sink (if you dare!) |

Undertray fitted to a 1.8T. The PRT nestles in the little oval bulge.

Under Tray Fixing
Ultimate under tray fixings 25mm self taper with 10mm hexagon head, stainless steel washer 20mm minimum up to 25mm max, rubber tap washer 25mm, size 14 spire to replace the old fixing to the body, all are 6mm thread and holes.
These never move and the rubber washer acts as a captive attachment for the self taper and washer, also bites on to the under tray thus eliminating the chance of the fixing vibrating loose

Mine arrived today. Covered it in Carpro Perl 1:1 rubber and plastic trim protector, now a nice deep shiny black.
Will fit it next week. Thanks for the hits about the screws and rubber washers I thought my Chassis was bad, so it's nice to see that compared with yours Lovell, mine appears quite good! Ali.

No, they advertise them one at a time. When one is sold they put up a new advert for another.
Latest ad at: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-Rover-...-/201942185730 Ali.
