You don't need to cut or solder anything unless the connector where the pad sesnor cable goes in is fine, just unplug the connector, bend a metal paperclip or a small staple that you use to staple sheets of paper together in such a way that you can stick them inside the 2 pins of the car's sensor connector, and the circuit is closed, warning light off. Tape the connector end with isolation tape if you want to protect it, hang it somewhere aside and job done.
