more gggrrr faults
Found 3 more faults with the Tourer. Not expensive but more time consuming to fix.
The fabric cover is coming away from the rear near side door speaker. Rear offside passenger door wont open from the inside, checked child lock. Rear cup holder in seat cushion broken. macafee2 |

Ian, is the rear cupholder just stuck? You can lift out the seat & take it off to fix it

Apparently the fabric has a reactive glue on the back of it when new and applying steam heat allows the glue to re stick to the surface it's mounted to. After it's been heated (gently) and just hot enough to touch, you can use a folded towel to act as a cushion and gently but firmly press against the affected area and hold till dry. (took about 15 minutes-ish drying time) Must say .. it worked brilliantly for me, you would never know there was ever a problem with it and so far it's been stuck for three weeks. Hope it works for you too if you give it a try. |
