Goes back to when people believed in fairies. It was thought green would attract them and they would play tricks on you. Quite a few people still believe in green being unlucky.

It's got nothing to do with fairies....lol

I won't buy a green car either, that's my late Father's fault, it stems from that green is an unlucky colour more so if you owned a motorcycle.
But basically it's superstitious nonsense.

I have heard that one before and there is no logic to it at all. Even had green Kawasakis without any incident too.

And I quite agree with you on the BRG. HFF FTW

The logic is that green (and dark blue) cars stand out less against hedges, etc. and are more prone to accidents where the car has not been seen.
